Liquid Stranger left us in awe with three electrifying sets in one extraordinary night! WAKAAN Rocks II was a highly anticipated event with a star-studded lineup including Shanghai Doom B2B Sharlitz Web, G-Rex B2B Sully, EAZYBAKED, and of course, Liquid Stranger. Each performance added its own flavor to the mix, building up the energy for an unforgettable night at Red Rocks.
In Denver, going to shows often means meeting DJs and enjoying special on-stage guest appearances. I had the pleasure of meeting Gorilla T, Chmura, and Mport, all absolute legends in the game right now. Special guests that evening included Of the Trees with EAZYBAKED (for Sapped), and then Liquid Stranger brought out So Down and Gorilla T. Denver also means stumbling upon pop-up DJ sets in the Red Rocks parking lot where you might just see a 12-year-old on the decks.
This show is helping prove that Red Rocks is upping their game with production this year. The visuals, lasers, and sound production has shown to be higher quality than previous years. I can tell this Red Rocks season is going to be top notch. One thing they could still improve on is opening the doors before the first act begins. Once again, I missed the first act due to security taking over an hour for me to enter.
Also, being able to attend this show with The Festival Babes was a dream come true. We were spoiled with so many things, including a tailgate, thanks to our sponsors – Escape CamperVans and Psychedelic Water.
